Hi everybody~ Please keep Steve in yours thoughts and prayers next week...on July 8 he will give his presentation on "Preventing Elder's Falls" at the National Indian Health Summit in Denver CO!!! He isn't one of the main speakers; there are many break-out sessions for people to attend, but it is a great honor to be chosen to be one of them and present at the summit. AND ...get this!!!...He's taking his secretary with him! (That would be ME, just so the rumors get spread with the right info ;)

Hope you all are enjoying summer. We think it might have come to MN, and hope it sticks around a while. Sometimes, like yesterday when it was in the 60's, we're not too sure.

Back from Honduras

This the medical team i was with in Honduras and what a great group of people. We treated over 2200 people in 5 clinics over 5 days...We moved from village to village by an old school bus it did not fail us this year...the last day we got some R&R so they talked me into this.......

Thank goodness for family

I am so thankful to my family for helping us paint the outside of our house this weekend (and for Benny for informing us that it was possible!) We couldn't have done it without all of the help and we sure do appreciate it. We have hated the color of the house since the day we looked at it, and now that it's beige, I couldn't be happier---I take that back. I would be happier if we didn't have to buy a paint sprayer at the last second. We borrowed Kirby's only for us and him to find out it doesn't work. Plan B was to paint it with brushes, but that would have taken all summer, so needless to say, we now own a paint sprayer. Anyway, thank you!!! It looks great!

BREAKING NEWS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been quiet for sometime but i came across this story that involves the above engine that is toast,,this truck,,,this barn and a coffee can that had some kind of accelerant (smells like Gas)
in it and a fire in the barn of said truck. anyone with any leads on this i could use your help...have been told that their may be a gag order out on the incident......Patrolman BOB

Zachary would like all those who participated in his 3rd grade travel buddy project this year to know that his little frog arrived back at school safe and sound. He received several post cards and the packet came with lots of stuff. There were some really neat photos of his frog with his new friends and at several locations. Thank you so much for all your help.

Ethan baseball practice

baseball practice was a 'hit' for ethan tonight. 2 times at bat resulted in 1 home run and 2nd a grand slam. You should have seen his face-HUGE smile, swinging his fist around in the air a little while he ran around the bases and slid into home. It was great! someone asked me if i was starting him on steroids already. The coach asked if he wanted to move up to the next age group, all older boys than he. I will have to check out their practice schedule and see if i can get him to the practices and games or not. Might not be so bad to be the big hitter of his usual team though, huh!? he wants to move up...what should i do? he would be leaving his classmates and best friend and joining the next 3 grades. we'll see. might go check out the big boys' practice tomorrow.

2009 CHAMPS

Brenna's softball team won the tournament Saturday becoming the 2009 Champs!! She has mostly been the catcher for the team but also plays 1st base. Great job Brenna!!

Springtime Planting in MN

I am not sure how the spring planting season is going in Indiana, but here is a little taste of how it is going in Minnesota. As you can see by the first picture, I had some difficulty navigating in the Mud holes. We just finished last week, without the help of the second tractor in the next two pictures. Not sure how it started, but be assured I had no part in that. The driver was a little shook up and nobody was hurt.
