Grandpa Sink
Nancy found this picture of Grandpa taken we think in the early 90s..We always knew he was ahead of his time with the sock hat,,,,we think its a nylon sock
I could not resist taking time to comment on this one! Not only is it correctly identified as a nylon cap, it is in fact a Sunday-going-to-meetin'-pre-church-cap, made of one of Gramma's old nylons. You who had your homes in Indiana were probably not privy to such information! As one who stayed in their home overnight many times, I have seen him wear this often! When Grandpa washed his hair, he wanted it to lay down flat and proper when it dried; and this cap was how it was accomplished!
