Hi, Mom-(Norma Jean),
Did you see my comment on your taffy recipe? I was happy to see you sharing the recipe, again. Does anyone else have a memory of Grampa Sink making his taffy for you? If you do, please share the memory...I would love to hear other taffy/popcorn stories.

I don't have any taffy tales, but since you also mentioned popcorn.....I had never had the "sticky popcorn" until Sara was here recently. YUM!!! I've made it a couple of times, and so far, haven't had anyone turn it down.
Laurie,
Yes, I saw your comment on the taffy recipe. That was cute. Hope you had a good week end, and your singing went fine and hope you found someone to accompany you. We had a good evening at Taylors party. We of course missed your Daddy, Len !! They toasted with the Swedish apple drink to Len and Margaret and Lee. The music was nice and Pastor Homme played Nikolina on the violin for your Dad. Tamie played and sang the medley "Savior lover of my soul" the swedish song and the jig. Allen played the guitar, banjo, and mandolin. We danced around the maypole; then went inside fot the desserts. I always bring the rommegrote. It was a lovely evening. I'm sorry that you and Sara missed it. Don't know how many more they will be able to have at the 'Taylor Farm' Maybe when they finish, we will have to continue it here at Valhalla or Tamies. Love, Mother
