We have a Christmas family!!
Let me tell you a little bit about the family:
Mom, Dad and 3 kids. The youngest is a new baby and was born with problems. Those problems have started some medical debt for them. Then on top of that, Dad has had two heart surgeries in the last couple of weeks, and Mom was taken to the hospital today with a problem with her head. She is having tests done today, including a CAT scan. They are a hard working family just trying to make it and are going to have a hard time giving their children a good Christmas with the hospital bills they are facing. Please pray for this family, they are in need of healing. I am SO excited that our family is going to get to be a blessing to them this holiday season!!
We still need one more family!!! I had hoped to have both families picked by the end of the month. That is FRIDAY! Please, if you have someone that we can help, let me know. If I don't hear from anyone by Friday, I will contact a local group that finds families in our communities. Thanks everyone!

Stephanie, didn't Jamie mention a family that is having to sell their home to pay for doctor bills? I know she talked about this family, but don't remember in what context.
Yes, but Drew said never mind. Jamie is heading up a fund raiser for the family right now.
