More on T.D.

Carol talked to him today. Temp is still 99.something, and they won't release him 'til it's normal. So he's stuck. On top of that his knee (not the artificial one, the real one) inexplicably filled up with fluid and was the size of a grapefruit, I'm told. They drained it and ran cultures on the fluid, thinking the infection had gotten in there, but it hasn't... so there is no real explanation for the knee problems.

He's getting understandably sick of being in the hospital (no pun intended) and I think he may be relieved to be transferred to a nursing home for a while, which, as it turns out, is the only option.

On a brighter note, Missy's Brian is finally home from Cuba. Got in tonight! We'll see him tomorrow.
