Nothing much to add to what Bennie said. T.D. was pretty groggy after the procedure, but the fever is gone and the rock is gone and he was producing urine. Doc said if he has no post-op fever or infection he might get to come home on Monday. The stone was 8mm, about the size of a large pea, but they were able to grab it and pull it out through the existing plumbing (if you get my drift) so there was no incisions, thus no danger of excessive bleeding. The put a stent in anyway, since the ureter (tube between kidney and bladder) was inflamed and swollen.
Barring any unforseen complications, he should be dancing the Charleston again soon.
