So, steve where are the pictures you promised? Probably because there are none...it was too stinkin' cold for those guys to be out zipping around on the snow. I know you stayed indoors watching movies, telling stories, breeding crickets, and drinking redpop. (yeah, right.) Not to mention plotting your strategies for the summer to snare patrolman bob and his autumn sidekick syrup king. I know you have something brewing...it will be interesting to see what, come july. ;-)

School Spelling Bee Winner

Tyler Dahlgren is the Lake Park/Audubon Elementary School Spelling Bee Winner. This is his 2nd year in a row being the school winner. He will advance to the Becker County Spelling Bee in February. We are very proud of him. We wish him good luck!!! (Brian thinks he gets his spelling from him, but we all know where it comes from) ha ha ha.

Well Cody managed to have a little incident with my van, yes, I said my van. Not enough damage to total out the mom-mobile, unfortunately.

After months of negotiations with upper management Ranger Rick and I was excited when we received the letter from Valhalla for at last we got our christmas bonus ..We knew their was going to be a delay for they were waiting for some of the bail out money to reach them....But this tops it all ,,,everything looks real good but you need to read the bottom small print to the left which states..(expires 1-31-09) it reminds everyone how tight ebeneezer the old scrooge is...thanks from your indiana staff

This coming Tues. night marks the yearly trek north for the Crow Clan. Pictured L to R is Steve G, Jerod C, Josh C, Hawk, Greg (Jamie C Hubby), and Josh's friend Zane. I think these pictures are from '05. Any volunteers available to help oversee this wild group? Warm lodging available out on the lake in the fishouse. Mom has warm beds at her house. I'll try to get more pictures on after they leave on Sun.

Indiana's catching up!

According to weather.com this morning, Fort Wayne's temperature is only one degree away from Detroit Lakes'! (-17 in DL, -16 in Ft. Wayne) Let me tell you, I don't envy you Minnesotans at all! Hope everyone is staying warm!

New Baby!

Pam (Sink) & Kevin Jakway had a baby boy on Sunday, January 11! His name is Jordan DeWayne and he was 8lbs. 9oz. and 20 inches long. Can't wait to see pictures!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO Cindy

Happy Birthday to you Cindy; Hope that you have a Great Day!! I think that it is cold there too. It is - 16 below here now. My thermometer yesterday a.m. was - 38degrees below and this a.m. was -25. I went out in that cold yesterday, but only to the church to quilt. Making quilts for other countries where it probably doesnt get colder than 32. Guess we must be a dedicated bunch of 60 and 70 yr. olds that are foolish. The wind chill is - 40 in D.L. Hope it isnt to bad where all of you are living.

Playing the recorder

This morning Camden was playing his recorder and then handed it to me for me to play. I played for him the ONE song I know from 5th grade music class, wait for it.....Mary Had A Little Lamb! yeah! And I played it perfectly - haha When I stopped, my sweet little Camden said, "good job Mommy, that was just like when Tammy plays."
Sorry Tammy! I was impressed that he put it together though!

using robs internet because he has real fast connection....Just got back from the beach was there from noon to 4:00,,,we have had to open all the windows,,I'm wearing sleeveless shirt, short and crocks, and we are still hot....i will try to make it thur this but i don't know how much longer we can take it...is there no end to this great weather......Oh Happy Birthday Scrooge

Has it been that long?

We have now had our blog for a year, can you believe that? Time has flown! I have so enjoyed hearing from everyone, it's so great to be able to hear what is going on with people even though we don't see each other very often. I hope those of you who do post continue to do so, and those of you who don't post will give it a try! Happy New Year!!
