Lois and Cal I'll bet you have been here at plant city..had a great time especially with the make your own strawberry shortcake..they give you a bowl and spoon sent you to a big bowl of strawberry and whip cream the rest is up to you (this is Marys second bowl) got picture of strawberry festival queen real cute,,,hard to believe its time for berry but this is florida....bennie

Thanks for all of the pictures showing the things that you are doing and enjoying in Florida and your retirement. Len and I have been to Plant City to the strawberry Festival. Arent those strawberries delicious ? We were there with Lois and Cal and Grandpa Sink.
I just went to the grocery this morning and trust me...the strawberries here still aren't looking too tasty! You're making me even more ready for summer!

We have gone to the Strawberry Festival Parade many times. The gang from Bradenton and mid-floride would meet. We parked our cars and set up chairs then went for late breakfast. Back to the parade route. We always ate our shortcake at Parksdale. Largest in area. Brought them in by the bus load. Gots of memories.
